I take the same trouble, i.e. windows 7 does not see my nvidia ge force 8400M gt carte du jour, onlysees "standard vga graphics adapter" and I cannot install the windows seven version of the drivers for the Nvidia carte  because windows vii does not recognize the nvidia card. I uninstalled the standard vga graphics adapter and so had windows look for new hardware and it found the same standard vga graphics adapter.  Windows vii does non encounter the Nvidia carte du jour. Haven't plant an respond yet, but may try MS support.

Hi, I bought a new Radeon 5570 PCIE X16 graphics card and initially the bios and the operating organisation did not seem to observe it.

I had been post-obit instructions for installation from the grapics card transmission.

Somehow it got found afterward and is configured properly at present but it need the very latest driver.

What I learned.

Remove any ATI or Nvidia folders from everywhere in the computer. Normally found in the C: drive folder. Binder, ATI or Nvidia.

Download and install the very latest driver.

Disable the VGA driver in the Device Manager

Enable PCIE X16 card in the bios.

Install the downloaded driver and reboot, maybe twice, twice will be better.

I had taken all these steps only not until I downloaded the very latest commuter was the graphics card found but and then it was found immediately.

I'chiliad having the exact aforementioned issue with the aforementioned NVIDIA card after upgrading Vista 32x to Windows seven 64x. I tried this, simply the problem is that the organisation no longer recognizes that the NVIDIA carte du jour is there. I've tried all the driver downloads, only the system doesn't need drivers for a slice of hardware it doesn't think it has, then the organisation responds appropriately. The issue we're having is getting the system to recognize that the NVIDIA graphics card is there.

Hi in that location!

I accept been reading this kind of information in a lot of forums and this simply doesm't work.

The problem is, the windows doesn't detect the card even if you install the correct drivers it wont load the CCC for ATI and you tin't change resolution and refresh rate. You can't execute programs like games.

In my instance, i had a problem with the pc and i uninstalled the drivers, and now i want to install them again and it doesn't work !

I have deleted all the folders of ATI and registry with PStools. In that location was no sign of ATI on the calculator and i also disabled the agp thing on the display adapters.

I restarted the pc and again the driver was detected as a defaul agp driver and not as ATI.

My carte is ATI HD6870   I downloaded my drivers from the official site and i too used an automobile detector. It always says the right data 6xxx series and it runs the setup and there is no single error just i dont see the command console of the ATI card similar before and information technology doesnt run when i outset up the pc, i cant change resolution and i cant do nothing in this pc.

I hope that microsoft finds a good fix for this because nosotros cant format the pc everytime this happens.
